The American University of Central Asia handed over 20 computers to the O. Tursumatov Ber-Bulak Comprehensive School located in Ber-Bulak village in the Alamedin district of the Chui region. The school was visited by AUCA President and Vice-President of Bard College Jonathan Becker and AUCA Vice-President Chyngyz Shamshiev.

On December, Friday 2, the AUCA community held one of the most anticipated events of the year! Annually the Initiation Ceremony took place at the Toktogul Satylganov Philharmonic Hall, but this year a decision was made to conduct a ceremony in the walls of the AUCA campus. Despite this change, the Initiation went as magnificent as it was before.
 

The American University of Central Asia, Bard College and USAID are pleased to announce the commencement of construction of the Makerspace Learning Center.

The recent issue of Ethics & International Affairs, a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal published by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, featured an essay written by the president of AUCA, Jonathan Berker. In the essay, Jonathan Beker analyzes the role of U.S. institutions globally and suggests ways in which they can play more constructive roles.

On Saturday, June 11th the annual U.S.-CAEF AUCA 2022 Graduation Reception was held at Novotel. A total of 14 fellows from the American University of Central Asia celebrated their graduation on this day.

Michael Freese will be serving as the Dean of Student Affairs starting from August 1st.

On June 13th, the very first day of the workshop on Modernizing Curriculum towards the Goals of UN SDGs for Central Asian Universities on "Climate Action" and "Sustainable Cities and Communities" was held on the AUCA campus.

On Saturday, June 11, the AUCA community held the long-awaited Graduation Ceremony for the 2021 and 2022 classes.President Jonathan Becker opened the ceremony with a welcoming speech, in which he thanked all the guests from various fields of business, education, and the diplomatic wing. Afterwards, he smoothly moved on to the graduates and prepared a wonderful speech.
