Transfer students, both Kyrgyz and international, are welcome to apply to AUCA. AUCA admits students in good standing from any recognized institution around the world.
Transfer students must submit an AUCA application (checklist below) and complete transcripts of all academic courses/credits completed at the other institution(s) to be considered as applicants.
Only courses with grades of C and higher (based on the letter grade system) or a 4 or higher (based on the CIS 5-point numerical grade system) will be considered for transfer. The grades earned in transferred courses will not be counted toward the student's GPA at AUCA.*
Students with questions or issues relating to the specific program they wish to transfer into may directly contact the chair of the respective program. The maximum number of transferred credits that may be applied to a student's major at AUCA is 15 for continuing students and 30 for Admits 2012; only courses which match the degree offerings at AUCA will be considered for transfer.
The AUCA Registrar's Office is reponsible for determining which courses, and how many credits, may be transferred into AUCA. To graduate from AUCA with a bachelor's degree a transfer student must study at AUCA at least 2 academic years.
NOTE: Students of “Zaochnyi” system courses and programs are ineligible for transfer to AUCA. Only students from traditional full-time or part-time university programs are eligible to transfer into AUCA programs.
* All earned credits, grades and GPA of the AUCA visiting student would be transferred to the udergraduate level.

Limit your statement of purpose to 700 words. Please attach your statement of purpose to this application.
Copy of high school diploma or vocational education certificate or if currently enrolled in high school, a document from current school certifying that an applicant is in the final year of study
Official copies (notarized photocopies) of any and all high school and university transcripts / marksheets
Copy of passport information pages and for non-Kyrgyz citizens living in Kyrgyzstan, a copy of the Kyrgyz Republic visa page (international students must check in with the International Affairs Office within 2 days of arrival to submit copies of their Kyrgyz Visa and complete Ministry of Internal Affairs registration paperwork)
2 color passport-style photographs (3 x 4 cm – white background)
COPY OF REPUBLIC TEST CERTIFICATE (KYRGYZ CITIZENS ONLY)
It is required for Kyrgyz citizens to submit an original of their Republic Test results. It is important that the Republic Test is taken in the year of applying, and the main test score is not less than the one set by the Ministry of Education for the year of applying. Submitting the certificate will not guarantee your admission to AUCA.
CHANGING STATUS TO DEGREE SEEKING STUDENT
If a visiting/exchange student decides to obtain a degree at AUCA he/she must re-apply as a degree seeking student and follow the standard conditions for admission as a full-time student as per the Admission Policy of the academic year in which he/she applies to the degree program. No more than 36 credit hours earned at AUCA as a visiting/exchange student may be counted toward a degree program at AUCA without grades. Only credits for courses with grades higher than “C” can be transferred. Credits earned at other universities can be transferred to AUCA as per the transfer policy.
