The American University of Central Asia hosted the 6th Conference of the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN): Borderland Spaces Ruins, Revival(s) and Resources on 13-15 August.
About 200 scholars from all over the world have participated in the conference.
The conference was jointly organized by the American University of Central Asia; International Institute for Asian Studies and the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN).

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan – September 2, 2018 – The Board of Trustees of the American University of Central Asia announced today the appointment of Jonathan Becker, the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bard College, as the new acting President of the University. Dr. Becker has been a trustee of AUCA since 2009 and has led its historic collaboration with Bard College.

A second annual workshop organized by the Department of Central Eurasian Studies, Indiana University, and Central Asian Studies Institute, AUCA, took place on August 29-31, 2018 at the School of Global and International Studies (SGIS) Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana, USA.

The American University of Central Asia (AUCA) is delighted to announce keynote speakers for Nomadism, Mobilities and Media international conference, which will be held at AUCA, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, August 29-30, 2018. 

Double Degree Master Program is the Master Program of the new generation that within two years allows to stay in two countries, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, to study in two universities, Tomsk State University and American University of Central Asia, and to receive two master degrees, Russian and Kyrgyz.
