MISSION: The mission of the Sociology Program is to create student-centered learning environment in which faculty and students are engaged in critical social inquiry dedicated to understand and address social problems and inequalities in global, institutional, and interpersonal social relations.
VISION: We are dedicated to expand, reflect, share and apply social knowledge in its many forms. As teachers, we develop sociological imaginations and critical thinking in our students by providing them training on an array of social theories and methods, and by exposing them to a diversity of subject area in sociology and substantive educational experiences.
