Kamilya Kadyrova is an Assistant Professor and Director of the New Generation Academy at the American University of Central Asia. She is a Program Director of the AUCA Freshman Academic Orientation and Language and Thinking Program and a Project Director of the “Study With US” program at AUCA sponsored by the US Department of State and Family Health International (FHI) 360 (since August 2023). She holds a Master of Business Administration in Talent Management and Human Potential Development (summa cum laude) from the American University of Central Asia (2022, Kyrgyzstan), a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership (summa cum laude) from University of Arkansas (2010, USA), and a specialized degree from the Department of World Languages, majoring in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and minoring in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (summa cum laude) from Osh State University (1999, Kyrgyzstan). Kamilya was a non-degree program visiting student of the Graduate School of Linguistics from Osh State University (2005, Kyrgyzstan). 

Kamilya joined AUCA in 2005 as an Instructor in the Preparatory Program and worked until 2007. She rejoined AUCA in 2012 as an Assistant Professor of the First Year Seminar Program at the General Education program where she currently teaches First Year Seminar (FYS): English for Liberal Arts, Philosophy, English Composition, and an OSUN Network Collaborative Course of FYS. In 2015, Kamilya became the Academic Director of New Generation Academy and in 2017 the Director of this preparatory program. 

Kamilya is an active member of the AUCA Faculty Senate (since 2014), a member of the AUCA Academic Affairs Committee (since September 2023), a co-chair of the OSUN Access Programs Working Group (since December 2022), a member of the OSUN Strengthening the Core Committee (since 2021), a member of the Freshman Orientation Anthology Development Committee (since 2013), and a member and a co-chair of the Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) at AUCA (since 2012). She actively served as a member of the OSUN Access Programs Working Group (2021-2022) and a board member of the Volunteer Action Center at the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement of the University of Arkansas (2008-2010, USA).
