Artificial Intelligence Workshop for Regional Universities

On January 24-25, the CTLT and the Library organized a two-part online workshop on Information Literacy in Artificial Intelligence, which was attended by over 100 faculty and staff members from major universities nationwide. The sessions, led by Ekaterina Kombarova from CTLT, focused on the fundamentals of AI, practical applications of ChatGPT, and other AI tools. Participants engaged in practical activities, learning about the details of AI information processing through hands-on experiences. The substantial turnout and high rating of the workshop by the participants underscored an increased commitment to fostering information literacy in the AI era. The event was held as part of AUCA’s ongoing collaboration and partnership with other universities in Kyrgyzstan.
