On April 23, the Library hosted an informative workshop titled “Legal Protection of Intellectual Property: Patents, Trademarks, and Copyrights” aimed at deepening understanding of intellectual property rights among students, faculty, and staff.

From March 17-21, 2025, AUCA Librarian Madina Kerimova visited the Central European University (CEU) Library in Vienna through the OSUN Staff Mobility Fellowship. This program offered valuable opportunities for professional collaboration and knowledge exchange.

On March 13-14, AUCA Library hosted a workshop titled “Conservation and Restoration of Library Collections” with invited trainers from the Conservation, Restoration and Binding Service of the National Library of Kazakstan. 

From January 13 to 17, 2025, the AUCA Library organized a series of webinars as part of the event “Scholarly Communication Week: Research Publications in the Digital Age.”

On December 2 – 4, 2024, AUCA Library Director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva and Reference Specialist Madina Kerimova attended the 18th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply Conference hosted by ADA University in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.

The webinar will cover important aspects of the publication landscape, including proceedings, journals, and books. Speakers will also provide practical tips on selecting the right publication venue.

On September 27, 2024, the AUCA Library hosted a webinar titled "Creating a Researcher Profile in Various Databases," which attracted over 35 participants from major regional universities in Kyrgyzstan.

    On June 25-26, 2024, AUCA hosted a two-day “Digital Technologies for Libraries” training, which gathered 25 representatives from partner universities in the regions and Bishkek. The training equipped librarians and academic staff with the latest digital tools and strategies to improve library services.

On June 6, 2024, AUCA Library and CTLT organized an “Information Literacy in Artificial Intelligence” training session, which gathered online over 50 participants from major regional universities in the country.
