The event took part on March, 7 at AUCA. The goal of the event was to create a deep sense of Woman’s Liberty and their fights for equality.

On 23 March 2012 CASI will host a talk by Dr. Tim Epkenhans, professor of Islamic and Iranian Studies at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. The talk titled "Commanding Right and Forbidding Wrong? Islamic Elites, Business and the State in Tajikistan" will start at 16:00 at AUCA (Room 315).

On 6-7 March 2012 the Central Asian Studies Institute of AUCA hosted an international academic workshop titled “Interpreting the Soviet Cultural Legacy in Central Asia”. The event gathered 15 scholars and researchers representing some leading research centers and universities of Central Asia, Russia, Europe and the United States for a discussion organized around five themes (see agenda).

AUCA invites all interested parties to submit proposals for the construction of the AUCA university campus located in southern Bishkek on Tokombaeva St.

On March 7, at 11:00 a.m.  at room 312,  Phillip Watkins, Deputy Director of Network Scholarship Program of OSF, NY, will deliver a «Doctoral and Faculty Support opportunities through the Open Society Foundations» presentation to AUCA Faculty.

On March, 1 at AUCA, Nikolai Shulgin, Dean of Student Life, writer, songwriter, and establisher of “Debut” Student Theater, presented his new book “A Train to Heaven” (“Поезд в рай”).
