Collaborating for Rural Sustainability – CORUSUS network
The Open Society University Network supported CORUSUS project (2021-2024) lead by Dr. Brandon P. Anthony at CEU aims at strengthening teaching, learning and research by cultivating cooperation to address the sustainability of rural livelihoods in South Africa, Kyrgyzstan, and Lebanon, whilst bolstering the sharing of knowledge and experience between faculty and students of partner institutions.
AUCA, CEU, and Bard College Launch Innovative Collaborative Geospatial Course
On October 4, 2023, we hosted our first joint online course, Introduction to Geospatial Data Visualization (IGVI), within the framework of the Network Collaborative Course (NCC) initiative. This collaboration brings together three institutions: the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), Central European University (CEU), and Bard College.
Mobility of AUCA students within the OSUN network
On Tuesday, May 23, AUCA welcomed Ruth Verweijen, a Viennese from the Central European University (CEU), the Open Society University Network (OSUN) Graduate Mobility Officer. Ruth Verweijen made a presentation on behalf of the CEU to present the mobility opportunities.
AUCA Sustainability Week
AUCA Sustainability Week will be from March 27th till March 31st. As part of this week's activities will be conducted Climate Fresk Workshop, Regenerative Practices Workshop, Recycling Workshop, #Make Climate a Class, and videos from the OSUN network on Climate Change will be displayed every day during lunchtime on the forum

David Shein, PhD, is the Dean of Students & Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and OSUN - Bard network. Professor Shein conducted 3-day workshops for the faculty of AUCA and TSI First Year Seminar from February 14th to February 16th 2023.
AUCA students’ films won three awards at the OSUN Film Festival!
Two of the films produced by AUCA students during the OSUN Visual Storytelling course won special awards in O-SUNDANCE, a film festival that showcased a total of 19 documentaries from across the OSUN Network. All documentaries were specifically designed to be socially impactful and raise awareness about topical issues.
Samar Kanatov: "For me, the advantage of exchange studies is the pluralism of learning experience"
Samar Kanatov is a junior student of the Economics department at AUCA. This fall semester he is studying at Central European University in Vienna, Austria. Samar always knew that he will participate in exchange and would spend at least one semester abroad.
Global Engagement Fellows Monthly Civic Engagement Workshops
This series of monthly workshops on every last Sunday of each month brings student leaders together from across the Open Society University Network to learn from each other’s experiences, reflect on each other's work, gain insight and training, and work together on gathering material helpful for new project leaders.
Applications Open for Five OSUN Certificate Programs
Applications are now open for undergraduate students to apply for five different OSUN Academic Certificate programs. Students from all OSUN institutions, at all levels of study, are encouraged to apply.
