Looking for a job

In looking for a job, there are several aspects you might want to consider:

  • Location (on-campus, off-campus, or remote);
  • The degree of flexibility (is there a set schedule?);
  • Are you doing this for experience or to earn money;

   

 

If you are looking for jobs

  • on-campus, you may pick from:
    • Department Offices (Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant/Administrative Assistant) [you receive the call in-person]  
    • AUCA Library (Library Assistant [reach out]) - library@auca.kg;
    • The WARC (Tutor [application]/Student Assistant [in-person]);
    • Academic Advising (Peer Advisor [email call + application]);
    • International Office (Language Partner [email call + application]) - international@auca.kg;
    • AUCA Dormitory (Residential Assistant);
    • &c. (Internships).

Note: for most of these jobs, you need to be at least a sophomore to apply.

Note: you will usually need a CV, a Cover Letter (optional), a professional email (a clean Gmail account), and references.
