Looking for a job
In looking for a job, there are several aspects you might want to consider:
- Location (on-campus, off-campus, or remote);
- The degree of flexibility (is there a set schedule?);
- Are you doing this for experience or to earn money;

If you are looking for jobs
- on-campus, you may pick from:
- Department Offices (Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant/Administrative Assistant) [you receive the call in-person]
- AUCA Library (Library Assistant [reach out]) - library@auca.kg;
- The WARC (Tutor [application]/Student Assistant [in-person]);
- Academic Advising (Peer Advisor [email call + application]);
- International Office (Language Partner [email call + application]) - international@auca.kg;
- AUCA Dormitory (Residential Assistant);
- &c. (Internships).
Note: for most of these jobs, you need to be at least a sophomore to apply.
- off-campus or remote, look through:
- job postings by the Career Development Office in your AUCA inbox;
- bishkek.headhunter.kg, employment.kg; or,
- linkedin.com [LinkedIn guide].
Note: you will usually need a CV, a Cover Letter (optional), a professional email (a clean Gmail account), and references.
Tip: apply to multiple jobs at once—even if you get no reply, try reaching out – it demonstrates interest.
