The Graduate School of Social Sciences met with its new students
On September 2, 2016, the Graduate School of Social Sciences welcomed its newly admitted students for the 2016-2017 academic year. The students will be studying in the Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, and Central Asian Studies (MACAS) departments.

AUCA students and a student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies volunteered to attend the ELP project Ala Archa
Between August 1 and August 12, 2016 six students from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) and one student from the Institute of Mining and Mining Technologies named after the Academician Asanaliev volunteered to attend the Ecological Leadership Program in the beautiful Ala Archa National Park to improve their leadership skills and to learn more about Kyrgyzstan’s environment.

AUCA students and alumni went to the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit, South Korea
Between July 25 and 30, the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit was held at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. This year, the model summit was attended by more than 50 participants from all the Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and South Korea.

I was given an incredible opportunity to get a high-quality education at one the best universities of Kyrgyzstan, AUCA. Those four years have made a huge contribution to my intellectual, professional, and personal growth. My interest in mathematics led me to economics as my future profession; however, I fell in love with it.

AUCA launches online MBA course
Starting in the 2016-2017 academic year, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) will launch its Online MBA program. The program is aimed primarily at business professionals, whose schedules are often not workable with being a full-time student. The online format also caters to students from rural areas of the Kyrgyz Republic and international students, primarily from other Central Asian countries.

Better Understanding for a Better World (BUBW)
Civilizations Exchange & Cooperation Foundation (CECF) will be holding its first BUBW conference in Bishkek on July 13-17 2016. 70 participants of the conference will come from Kyrgyzstan and surrounding Central Asian countries, in addition to 30 participants from other regions of the world. The most colorful part of the conference - culture event will take place at AUCA on July 14 from 17.30 to 20.00. Anyone who is interested in seeing diverse cultures may come to see and join participants.
