The VICTORIA contest among high school graduates of the Kyrgyz Republic, and young people under 22 years old who have a certificate of secondary education, citizens of Kyrgyzstan. The contest topic is European realities. Erkebulan Askarbekov came to study at AUCA from Kazakhstan, the city of Taraz. He studied 12 classes at a physics and mathematics school and chose the faculty of applied mathematics and computer science. Erkebulan is a US-CAEF scholar, the program covers study fees and the student even receives a monthly scholarship.

On January 15, an AUCA alumna 2019 from Economics Department Valeriia Zharkova made a special presentation for the AUCA students about Central European University (CEU), its programs and a procedure for submitting documents. She revealed the secrets of effective preparation for admission to CEU based on personal experience.
