The Alumni Relations Office is excited to announce a new scholarship. Avazbek Kamalov (IBL’17) established a scholarship for the IBL students.  The Avazbek Kamalov Scholarship amount is 1000 USD per year and will be granted to support one IBL student.

A month after the Taliban abruptly banned women from colleges and universities in Afghanistan, U.S. institutions are trying to help them back into academe any way they can.

Asel Taalaibek kyzy graduated from the International and Business Law Department in 2022. Currently, Asel is pursuing a Master’s Degree at Central Michigan University in the United States of America, she is studying Business Administration and Management.

Asel Osmongazieva graduated from AUCA in 2021 from Journalism and Mass Communications Department. Right after graduation, Asel decided to get work experience, and currently, she is working for a non-profit organization that fights tuberculosis through various activities.

The Development Office is excited to announce that 40 students from Kyrgyzstan have been selected to participate in the virtual internship program: Social Media for Climate Activism.

Aziza Kanimetova graduated AUCA from the Journalism and Mass Communications department in 2020. After graduation, Aziza started an internship as a communication specialist at UNICEF. Upon successful internship completion, Aziza was offered to work at UNICEF as a Design and Social Media Consultant.

Aidana Bekboeva graduated from AUCA in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. In 2018 Aidana won the Brain Ring Intellectual Tournament and got first place, which allowed her to study at AUCA with a full scholarship. Currently, Aidana is pursuing a Masters's Degree in Financial Analytics at the Stevens Institute of Technology in New York.

Igor Li graduated with a degree in Economics from AUCA in 2021. Upon graduation, Igor went on to pursue his master's degree at Central European University and then started working at Citibank as a Financial Analyst. In this interview, he shares the story of his journey to working in one of the top 15 banks in the world.
