Kylym Aitkulova is an Instructor in the Psychology department at the American University of Central Asia. She holds a Master of Applied Psychology degree (2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2018) both from American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan). 

Kylym joined AUCA in 2022 as an Instructor and a Specialist of the Institute for Behavioral Health. As a practicing psychologist, Kylym Aitkulova provides diagnostic assessments for children and psychotherapy for adults. She participated in various programs, including the Transactional Analysis 101 Course at the Association of Practitioners of Transactional Analysis of Kyrgyzstan (2019) and Art Therapy with Gestalt Approach - Experimental and Theory Track at the Positive Psychology Center (2019). Since 2023, she has had memberships of the American Psychological Association and the International Association of Applied Psychology and has been a reviewer in a professional peer-reviewed journal (Neuroscience Research Notes). Her teaching philosophy is to create a learning environment where students feel accepted, fairly treated, and motivated to learn psychology.
