Bholenath is an Instructor in the International and Business Law department at the American University of Central Asia. He has an Advanced Master’s degree in Public International Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands. He also holds a postgraduate degree in International Humanitarian Law from NALSAR University of Law, India, and a law degree with honors from Chanakya National Law University, India.
Bholenath joined the AUCA in 2022 and teaches international law-related courses. Additionally, he has been actively involved in the research projects of the university. He was a project supervisor of the “Migration Project” initiated by the International Student Office of AUCA. He was the Assistant Coach of the Leiden University’s teams for the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He also served as a Memorial Judge for the Jessup Moot Court Competition, Global Rounds in 2021. He was a guest lecturer of the Public International Law and Mooting Skills at Bursa Uludag University (Turkey).
He also possesses vast experience in international law moot court competitions. He was a member of the team from India which qualified for the Asia-Pacific Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Moot Court Competition in Australia (2018). He was the semi-finalist at the NALSAR Public International Law Moot Court Competition, in India (2019). He was also the quarter-finalist at the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, Indian National Rounds (2020).
