Dr. Polina Dolmatova is an Associate Professor in the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department at the American University of Central Asia. She holds her Ph.D. in Technical Sciences and attended a postgraduate course at Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (2014, Kyrgyzstan). She received a specialized degree in Applied Mathematics and System Programming with honors from Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (2008, Kyrgyzstan). 

Dr. Dolmatova joined AUCA in 2009 as an Instructor and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2013. She participated in the IV International Turkic World Congress on Science and Engineering (2022, Turkey), the IV International Conference on Green Computing and Engineering Technologies (2018, Denmark), the International Scientific Conference “Asymptotical, Topological, and Computer Methods in Mathematics” (2016, Kyrgyzstan), The Issyk-Kul International Mathematical Forum (2015, Kyrgyzstan), and many other conferences and seminars.

Dr. Dolmatova serves as an Academic Advisor and senior thesis supervisor for the students of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department, a member and chair of the Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) (2016), and a member of the Faculty Research Committee within the AUCA Faculty Senate (since 2022). She was a contributing author in Ross’s First Course of Probability, Edition 10, 2023, and in Hogg’s Intro to Mathematical Statistics, Edition 8, 2019.
