Zaripa Samudinova is an Assistant Professor (on sabbatical leave) in the non-degree General Education program at the American University of Central Asia. She holds a specialized degree in Russian Language and Literature with an additional qualification in Pedagogy from the Kyrgyz Pedagogical Institute of Women (1982, Kyrgyzstan). She was a lecturer in the Online Language Program (OLP) in 2023. 

Zaripa Kumarbaevna joined AUCA in 1999. She was a manager and developer of the General Standardized Testing at the Center for the Evaluation of Education and Teaching Methods with the support of USAID. She participates in various professional development workshops, including the Critical Thinking through Reading and Writing workshop series at AUCA. She is the awardee of the Presidential Research and Education Fund (2022-2023).
