"Geography of Kyrgyzstan" was approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic as a textbook for the students of higher educational institutions. Lectures were written by Cholpon Chotaeva, the Professor of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Program at the American University of Central Asia, and published with the financial support of the International Higher School of Medicine in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
"Geography of Kyrgyzstan" has been designed for undergraduate students of the colleges and universities of Kyrgyzstan who are instructed in English, and are required to take the Geography of Kyrgyzstan course as part of their general educational courses, and then pass the combined state exam on History and Geography of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Language and Kyrgyz Literature.
