AUCA gave me more than I expected, - Erlan Moldoshev, AUCA Alumnus
Erlan Moldoshev is AUCA Alumnus of International and Business Law Department, 2014. During his education at AUCA, he practiced at the Legal Clinic of AUCA, which provides needy citizens with free legal counsel. Students, including Erlan are able to work on real civil and criminal cases there. After graduation, Erlan was accepted to MA course at two prestigious international universities.

Student groups and organizations were on display during our annual Club Fair, held last Friday, on September the 12th. Extra-curricular life and involvement outside of academia are vital to student experience here at the American University of Central Asia.

A book was released on the researches of AUCA Alumni at the state Parliament
Last week, on September 10, 2014, more than eight AUCA Alumni were awarded by certificates of completing their internship at Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic. The internship was based on studying various social issues in Kyrgyz Republic.

Psychology Department of AUCA offers a course on autism and applied behavior analysis for the first time in Central Asia
In 2013, with the support of Open Society Institute, AUCA Psychology Department, “Hand in hand” public association and William Edwards from Clemson University, designed a joint project on developing a program of course “Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis”. Olga Yarova, faculty of the AUCA Psychology Department will become first certified behavior analyst next year in Kyrgyzstan.

Orientation Program 2014
The opening ceremony of this year’s AUCA New Student Orientation was replete with song and dance, ranging from a modern re-telling of the Greek myth of ‘The Golden Apple’ (set to Kelis’ “Milkshake”) to the rousing anthem of “Made in AUCA”.

AUCA organized Flash Mob dedicated to Kyrgyz Independence Day and First annual World Nomad Games
The 31st of August, AUCA organized a Flash Mob held in Ala-Too Square to commemorate Kyrgyz Independence Day and the First annual World Nomad Games.
