Dr. Hersh Chadha is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), awarded for exhibiting a high degree of proficiency and demonstrating technical and visual competence in photography. His uncompromising concern for the environment and the way man ravages it has made him focus on critical issues such as the preservation of wildlife, the protection of rain forests, the ozone layer and pollution.

Stephen Golub is an international development scholar, researcher and consultant who has field experience in over 40 countries across the globe; authored dozens of papers on democracy, governance, legal empowerment and the rule of law; and edited several volumes on these topics . He has taught at the Central European University, Tufts University and the University of California at Berkeley.

AUCA Law Division Conducts a Summer School on Human Rights with the University of Zagreb
The American University of Central Asia (AUCA) Law Division and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law in Croatia conducted the 2016 Summer School in Human Rights in early September. The week-long seminar occurred in Kyrgyzstan and included five AUCA students, four AUCA professors, five University of Zagreb students and three University of Zagreb professors.

Tian Shan Policy Center kindly invites all interested to a guest lecture by Mr. Rajendra Shende, Policy Advisor at United Nations on implementation of activities related to ozone layer protection and climate change in more than 146 developing countries. Rajendra Shende is expert on transfer of environmentally sound technologies and the implementation of the Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) in the developing countries and countries with economies in transition.

AUCA students and alumni went to the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit, South Korea
Between July 25 and 30, the 2016 Korea-Central Asia Youth Model Summit was held at Ajou University in Suwon, South Korea. This year, the model summit was attended by more than 50 participants from all the Central Asian countries, Mongolia, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), and South Korea.
