AUCA student delegation who implemented their civic engagement projects to help people in their communities spent 7 days in Budapest. This is the story of how to get to the Get Engaged conference, what it is like to participate and what are its benefits are.

Last year AUCA started a cooperation with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) in delivering the Executive Master in Development Policies and Practices (DPP) and became the Central Asian hub for this program.

The Central Asian Hackfest 2018 "Generation Z: Children's Welfare" was launched in Kyrgyzstan where IT developers from the countries in the region will work together to find digital solutions to promote and protect children's rights.

Razia Gul is a junior student at AUCA who is currently majoring in International and Comparative Politics and minoring in Journalism and Mass Communication. Razia has spent her 2017-2018 fall semester in one of the oldest universities in the world Philipps University Marburg, Germany

«This experience  was very helpful when  I was applying to the Master Degree Programs and scholarships, because to have high grades in a transcript is not the main priority for the admissions and  sponsors, they consider also ability to conduct research. Memorandum between American University of Central Asia and Porsesh Research & Studies Organization was signed.The partnership is aimed to develop long-term, effective and mutually advantageous cooperation, targeted at promoting international collaboration and networking in the area of gender studies, specifically with the research center at AUCA, the Center for Critical Gender Studies.

On February 11, 2018, in frame of the Open House Day, AUCA “Mirrors” theater held a performance with a new graphic design format in the Forum of the American University in Central Asia

We continue to write about AUCA students that spend a semester on exchange at various universities around the world. Mohammad Tamim Karimi is a junior student from International and Comparative Politics Department at AUCA. Tamim spent one semester as an exchange student at Bard College Berlin.

AUCA students from Master of Arts in Sociology Iuliia Dorofeeva, Aikanysh Imanova and Bolotbek kyzy Gulzada are continuing their study at Otto von Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany.
