Daniel Kerimov: “I decided to participate in the exchange program to improve myself and open new chapter in my life”

My name is Daniel Kerimov, and I am a senior pursuing my Bachelor's degree. I decided to participate in the exchange program to improve myself and open a new chapter in my life, broadening my horizons and gaining a global perspective on academics and culture. I chose Poznan University of Economics and Business for my exchange semester because it is one of the top universities in Poland, known for its excellent academic programs, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant international community.

My experience studying at Poznan University has been truly enriching. The academic environment here is rigorous and intellectually stimulating, pushing me to delve deeper into my field of study. The opportunity to interact with professors and students from diverse backgrounds has broadened my understanding and exposed me to different teaching methodologies. Additionally, immersing myself in Polish culture and society has been fascinating, allowing me to appreciate the nuances of a new culture and language.

My experience at the American University of Central Asia provided a strong foundation for adapting to the new academic and social environment. The multicultural atmosphere at AUCA, along with its rigorous academic programs, helped me develop critical thinking skills, cross-cultural communication abilities, and adaptability—essential attributes that have been instrumental in navigating a foreign university.

I'm grateful for this incredible opportunity to learn and grow during my exchange semester. It has not only enhanced my academic capabilities but has also given me a deeper appreciation for diversity, which I believe will be invaluable as I move forward in my academic and professional journey.

Also, I would like to thank my program, "NGA," Kamila, and Umut for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to prove ourselves. They helped us discover our academic potential and believe in ourselves.
