On July 2, a ceremonial graduation of more than 50 retired military workers, who successfully finished their courses in a framework of NATO project, took place in AUCA.

On June 29, 15 top AUCA juniors and seniors, who finished their internship in key parliamentary committees of the Jogorku Kenesh, were awarded with certificates.

Official handing over of “Contemporary international law materials and cases” book took place on 25 June of 2012 in Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic. Executive Director of Tian-Shan Policy Center (TSPC) of AUCA Mr. Rodger Dillon presented 14 books to Chair on Juridical Issues and Rule of Law Mr. Toktogul Tumanov for use and further distribution among other committees.

Official handing over of “Contemporary international law materials and cases” book took place on 25 June of 2012 in Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic. 

On 12 June, 2012 AUCA Tian Shan Policy Center and Fulbright Alumni Association of Kyrgyzstan held an event to launch the new book entitled, “Contemporary International Law". The book, which was edited and published by law professors from three universities in Kyrgyzstan, American University of Central Asia, Kyrgyz National University, and Kyrgyz State Academy of Law, was celebrated as the first such resource book to help modernize Kyrgyz legal education.

Dr. Svetlana Jacquesson will begin work on August 1, 2012.
