On this page you can find the following information:

Eligibility & Rules

Eligibility criteria:

  • Full-time students;
  • Sophomore, junior, and senior years of study;
  • Cumulative GPA: 3.0 (minimum);
  • Fulfilling prerequisite requirements, if any.

General information and rules:

  • All courses are offered online.

  •  All courses are in the local time of the university offering a course, so students need to check with Bishkek time.

  • Since space for each course is limited, seats will be offered on a first come first served basis.

  • Since space for each course is limited, students are allowed to take up to 6 ECTS (AUCA) credits for OSUN credits.

  • It is each student's responsibility to receive approval of their advisor to take a specific OSUN course.

  • Students taking OSUN courses offered outside of AUCA will be allowed to take up to 36 credits - including OSUN course credits - in the spring semester 2023 in order to be able to take these courses. If students would like to take an OSUN course, they need to leave free credits so that the total number of credits including the OSUN course credits does not exceed 36 credits. NOTE: this exception will only apply to students taking OSUN courses in Spring 2023.

  • Students taking OSUN courses offered at AUCA follow the regular registration process and their maximum quantity of credits is 33 credits in Spring 2023.
  • No separate payment is required as long as students’ total semester load (AUCA and OSUN credits) is no more than 36 credits.

  • Once students submit the course participation confirmation form on the OSUN portal (after being notified of acceptance), they are not allowed to drop that course.

  • Students will receive grades for courses. The grade received for the OSUN course will affect overall GPA.

  • Students no longer have to transfer OSUN courses into AUCA by submitting the transfer form. OSUN courses will be added to each student's transcript manually by the Registrar's Office after the end of the add-drop period in January 2023. Grades for courses will be added based on official transcripts that AUCA will receive from the course host institution.
