Sabyrkul Kalygulova is an Associate Professor in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program at the Institute of Education, American University of Central Asia (AUCA). She holds a Kandidat Degree in Linguistics from the Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences (2001). Her expertise lies in English Language Teaching and Curriculum Design, which she has been cultivating through over three decades of academic and administrative leadership in higher education.

Before joining AUCA in 2024, Dr. Kalygulova served in multiple senior positions at Osh State University (OshSU), including Dean of the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures, Chair and Associate Professor of the English Department. She also directed the university’s International Affairs Office, strengthening cross-border academic collaborations.

In her role as a higher education reform expert HERE for the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan since 2020, Dr. Kalygulova has played a significant role in driving educational reforms and promoting international cooperation in the Kyrgyz higher education sector. Her work in this capacity underscores her commitment to enhancing educational quality and aligning local educational frameworks with global standards. Dr. Kalygulova's involvement extends beyond her teaching and administrative duties. She has been instrumental in designing sustainable education initiatives, both locally and internationally, and actively contributes to projects that foster intercultural communication and educational development. She has participated in numerous global seminars and training programs on sustainable development and quality assurance in education.
