Dr. Taalaibek Imanaliev is a Professor in the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department at the American University of Central Asia. He received his Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences post doctorate degree from Kyrgyz State National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (2001, Kyrgyzstan) and holds his Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics Sciences from Kyrgyz National University (1994, Kyrgyzstan), and a specialized degree with honors from Kyrgyz National University (1988, Kyrgyzstan). 

Dr. Imanaliev joined AUCA in 2013 as a part-time professor in the General Education non-degree program and was promoted to the Coordinator of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department in 2014. Since 2016 he has been a Professor of AMI. 

Dr. Imanaliev was an elected member of the Institutional Review Board at AUCA (2017-2019), an elected member of the AUCA Research Committee (2019-2021), a chairman of the Granting Commission of the Natural Sciences department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (2010-2012), and an expert of the higher attestation commission of the Kyrgyz Republic (2011-2015). He has been an affiliated member of the American Mathematical Society since 2003, an affiliated member of the International Actuarial Association since 2011, and a deputy chair of the Kyrgyz Actuarial Association since 2012.
