This year American University of Central Asia was awarded the honor of best partner in the Kyrgyz Republic by Super Info News Group.

The Tian Shan Policy Center within AUCA is now implementing its new project, “Protecting the Rights of Kyrgyz Migrants: Utilizing Policy Analysis, Public Outreach, and Stakeholder Dialogue to Mobilize Action toward Reform, 2012-2014”.

AUCA law faculty presented the "Contemporary International Law - Materials and Cases" resource book to three universities.

On November 30, 2012, AUCA’s Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) and Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU) hosted the Conference on Food Security and Land Resources under a Changing Climate – Issues of Adaptation. 

On November 28th the “Donate a Book to a rural library” charity event began at AUCA.

On November 14 AUCA hosted a free workshop entitled “5 myths of film production” which was conducted by Alexander Tsay and AUCA alumnus, Stepan Golovash, co-creators of the film “Bishkek, I love you”.

Initiation 2012 took place at the Philharmonic on November 8, 2012. The packed house included some distinguished guests, who shared their thoughts on the spectacle.
