The most anticipated event of the week the Final Gala Concert traditionally brought the AUCA community together on Friday evening. The AUCA Forum was filled with students, faculty, staff, friends, and families who gathered to celebrate cultural diversity and witness the culmination of a week full of meaningful exchange and collaboration.

Scholarly Communication Week 2026
From January 12 to 16, 2026, the AUCA organized a series of webinars as part of the annual Scholarly Communication Week.  This year’s theme, “Scholarly Communication in the AI Era,” focused on the ongoing transformations in the field in the context of artificial intelligence development and brought together over 300 participants from various universities across the country.

Bard Scholars Jonathan Becker and Zarlasht Sarmast Publish Article on Civic Engagement and Displaced Students
  Bard College Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Politics, former AUCA President Jonathan Becker, and AUCA Graduate Zarlasht Sarmast, Civic Engagement Network Coordinator for Bard and the Global Higher Education Alliance for the 21st Century (GHEA21), published an article this week which reframes forcibly displaced and refugee students as important potential civic actors.
