"The Lake". Watch the Movie Trailer
On December 23 at 12:30 in the Manas cinema the premiere of the film "The Lake", directed by our lecturer, director Emil Atageldiev, will take place. Note that our other lecturer, director Artykpai Suyundukov plays one of the main roles. Moreover, this film was nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.

"Data Art" Project by Journalism and Mass Communications Department
Journalism and Mass Communications department presented "Data Art" project on Friday, December 4. “Data Art” - is an art object based on a survey among the AUCA community. The research was conducted on topics such as tolerance, interests, dreams and life of the AUCA community.

Students of Applied Geology took part in the XII International Youth Conference on the basis of the Scientific Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences
Students of the Applied Geology Program Alparov Aslan, Begmetov Akmal, Zhumabaev Aidar and Mamedov Emir under the guidance of Dr.Zheenbek Kulenbekov and Dr. Sagynbek Orunbayev took part in the XII International Conference of Young Scientists and Students " Modern TechNology and Technologies in Scientific Research" held by the Scientific Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic (online). In addition, the students took part in the XVI International Competition of Research Works PTScience, Moscow.

New Interdisciplinary Course “Intersections of Gender, Family and Society in Kyrgyzstan”
This course is designed to develop the collaborative research experience of students from Germany and Kyrgyzstan to explore the complex issues of gender-based violence, family interaction, and the role of civil society and the state in preventing gender inequality and violence against women and children in Kyrgyzstan.
