Hawai’i Pacific University awards a limited number of graduate scholarships each fall and spring semesters to new graduate students.

Willamette is a nationally renowned, highly selective private liberal arts university in Salem, Oregon. Offering merit-based scholarship consideration from 10% to 100% of tuition to all qualified applicants who apply for Fall 2012 by May 1, 2012.

On 27 April 2012 the Central Asian Studies Institute will host a research seminar on Memories of perestroika in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. Dr. Irina Morozova, Dr. Gulnara Aitpaeva and Ainura Turgangazieva will share the initial findings of the field research that investigated the ways how perestroika times and the fall of socialism are remembered and discussed among various social groups in contemporary Kyrgyzstan.

Smolny College of St. Petersburg State University will host its First Smolny Student Readings “Humanities in the interdisciplinary perspective” on April 21, 2012.
