Forging Partnerships with Kyrgyzstan’s New Lawmakers: How Research and Policy Centers Can Help Improve Governance

The Ministry of Youth Affairs,"Generation NEXT" of AUCA, website "New Literature of Kyrgyzstan," and universities of KR arrange a "Many Languages - One World" youth conference.  

The third annual Innovative Kyrgyz Language Education workshop was held by the Kyrgyz Department at AUCA.

In 2012 the summer school offers 18 high-level, research-oriented,interdisciplinary academic courses as well as workshops on policyissues for professional development, taught by internationallyrenowned scholars and policy experts (including CEU faculty).

The application period for summer 2012 starts November 1, 2011 and students are welcome to apply!

On 6-7 March 2012, the Central Asian Studies Institute at the American University of Central Asia will host an academic workshop aimed at discussing the frameworks that organize popular thinking today about the things that gave a sense of cultural commonalty to the Soviet experience in Central Asia, as well as the ways that they have been and can be analyzed in scholarship.?
