Research seminar: Memories of perestroika in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia
On 27 April 2012 the Central Asian Studies Institute will host a research seminar on Memories of perestroika in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. Dr. Irina Morozova, Dr. Gulnara Aitpaeva and Ainura Turgangazieva will share the initial findings of the field research that investigated the ways how perestroika times and the fall of socialism are remembered and discussed among various social groups in contemporary Kyrgyzstan.
