On 12 June 2012 the Central Asian Studies Institute will host a research seminar on Negotiating Modernity: Places and Objects in the Context of Kyrgyzstan. The event will start at 11 a.m. in Room 232 (CASI/TSPC Resource Center)

Alim Sagynaliev of School 61 won an I-Pad 2 from Svetofor in the first Mathematics and Logic competition hosted by the AUCA on May 27th .

On May 3 at AUCA, the Second Annual Student Conference took place. The theme of the conference was “Economics of the Region: Integration Processes and Economic Development.”

On 29 May 2012 CASI will host a talk by Dr. Erica Marat on “Kyrgyzstan: A parliamentary system based on inter-elite consensus?” The event is open for public and will start at 15:30 in Room 232, AUCA.
