A Contribution from an AUCA student to Psychology in Kyrgyzstan
Christopher Reintsma is a senior student of Psychology at the American University of Central Asia.  Christopher applied for a grant from the Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) and received a grant supporting his research in the field of mental health of adolescents.

I entered AUK long time ago in 1998. There, I studied Business Administration. AUCA was a great springboard for me. I made a lot of friends, with whom I still keep in touch.

With an AUCA degree in sociology in hand, I started my career by furthering my sociological imagination at Ball State University’s Department of Sociology (USA).  In 2003, I returned to my alma mater to teach and learn from my students during seven marvelous years in the Sociology Department.
