Gregory Jordan Dunn is the head of the School of Economics & Business at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). We sat down with him to talk about his contribution to AUCA’s School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA).

On November 3, 2016 Johannes Stenbæk Madsen, the head of cooperation at the European Union Delegation to Kyrgyzstan, gave a lecture at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).

On November 2, 2016 Klaus Bobich, a lawyer from Germany, gave a lecture entitled "Constitutional rights and their implementation/realization in the German legal system" at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).

Abstract: Afghan Kyrgyz are situated at a unique crossroads in the Pamirian knot. Both on the periphery of contemporary religious, cultural and political domains as well as on the pathways of ancient trading routes, their particular location opens a variety of complex exchanges. Afghan Kyrgyz have negotiated this ever-changing and difficult geopolitical settings. In adapting a high-risk, high-reward pastoral existence necessary for survival, they have constantly reconfigured their relationship with dominant powers. 

Dimitri Rechov is an exchange student from Sciences Po Paris in France. He told us about his experience in Kyrgyzstan and AUCA.

On November 26-27, the Student Senate of the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in collaboration with Bard College (USA) is organizing a Model United Nations Conference for university students.

On September 16-17, 2016, the Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) of the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) held its fifth annual international conference.

Jin Shin is from the Republic of South Korea and study at Hannam University. He is a senior and studying Business Administration. Now, Jin Shin is one of the exchange students in the American University of Central Asia (AUCA).

On October 24, 2016 Dr. Hersh Chadha OPM (Harvard), ARPS, photographer, writer, philanthropist and AUCA friend and long-term supporter visited the American University of Central Asia. Dr. Chadha gave a lecture entitled “Environmental Issues,” met with students and Kyrgyz filmmakers, and received an Honorary Professorship from AUCA.
