Bard Scholars Jonathan Becker and Zarlasht Sarmast Publish Article on Civic Engagement and Displaced Students
  Bard College Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Politics, former AUCA President Jonathan Becker, and AUCA Graduate Zarlasht Sarmast, Civic Engagement Network Coordinator for Bard and the Global Higher Education Alliance for the 21st Century (GHEA21), published an article this week which reframes forcibly displaced and refugee students as important potential civic actors.

Demir Bank provides $25000 scholarship for AUCA seniors
«Demir Kyrgyz International Bank» CJSC, the first international bank in the Kyrgyz Republic, and the American University of Central Asia have signed an addendum to their Memorandum of Cooperation. Under the agreement, a special Defne Akçakayaloglu Scholarship has been established by DemirBank for the top students of the university in the amount of USD 25,000.
