Congratulations, Debut Theater!

On March 1, 2013 “Debut” Student Theater celebrated its 10^th Anniversary.

 

Alumni and students took part in the concert, organized by Nikolai Shulgin and Student Affairs office.

 

Alumni showed performances of “those days”, when they were AUCA or AUK students. Young generation of “Debut” Drama Theater also performed on the stage with songs and dances.

Rows of spectators who witnessed the unique talents of students was joined not only with the direction staff of the AUCA, its students, but also with Kyrgyz pop stars, representatives of international organizations and Kyrgyz show as well as representatives of the business environment. And also, it is worth to note that from a specially prepared places for guests in the audience it was possible to see faces of famous director Bolot Shamshiev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Public TV and Radio Company Farhad Bekmambetov, singers Janetta Bobkova, Julia Rutskaya, Salkynay Aliyeva and Nurbek Savitahunov, actor Azamat Arykov and showman Kuban Atabekov. The students acting in the theater "Debut" for 10 years were up on the stage. It should also be noted that all funds raised from the concert will be transferred to the Belovodsky orphanage.

 

"Battle" of generations on the stage

It must be admitted that the concert was held at a very high level. Songs performed in the live sound, dynamic dancing, and of course the jokes pleased the audience of the concert. None of performances left the viewer indifferent. Since the concert was celebratory, it should be special. The specialty of the concert was that all students once performed at the student theater "Debut" during 10 years, all at once have been on the same stage. First, the older generation performed on the stage, and then, the middle generation also showed their skills. The younger generation, in their turn, was supposed to close the concert. Another memorable moment of the evening was the last number, in which the singer Salkynay Aliyeva sang about children, accompanied by dance of the AUCA staff and their children. This performance created a warm atmosphere in the audience and touched the soul of every spectator.

 

Julia Rutskaya and Nurbek Savitahunov presented their new songs.

Not everybody know that singers Julia Rutskaya, Salkynay Aliyeva, Nurbek Savitahunov who already found their place in the domestic show business were also performing at the student theater "Debut". The participation of these stellar graduates of the AUCA in the concert, added more speciality to the event. Julia and Nurbek, in their turn, presented their new songs to the audience.

 

"The audience can exist without a theater, but the theater cannot exist without an audience"

In fact, the concert was a great success! The Head of the "Debut" theater, who was responsible for organizing this concert Nikolai Shulgin in concluding speech said: "Thank you all for coming! Students who performed today and showed their talents deserve special praise today. If they were able to tolerate me, then I believe that they will be able to achieve anything in this life. Viewers can exist without a theater, but the theater cannot exist without an audience."

 

Aizada Tynyeva - Assistant of the Dean of students of AUCA:

"For 10 years the theater "Debut" holds festival of friendship of nations in the regions of Kyrgyzstan. Last year in 6 cities of the country we held such events. And today, we are holding a charity concert in honor of the 10^th anniversary of the theater. It involves mostly not AUCA students who are studying at AUCA at the moment, but the ones, who already graduated."

 

Azamat Arykov - actor:

"I often participate in such events. Honestly, I did not expect that students of AUCA will be able to hold a high level concert as this one. Acting skills of students are almost on a par with professional actors. Such events have their own rules. The concert should keep the audience in one go and it should be interesting to the audience, so they will not fall asleep. Concert of the theater "Debut" was one of those concerts."
