The Faculty of Television Cinema and Media Arts is pleased to share another big success of our alumni!

TCMA alumna Saltanat Ismanova participated in the International film festival "Nomad 2024: The Infinite Sky". The festival is an international forum organized and hosted by the University of Central Asia's School of Arts and Sciences at its Naryn Campus in Kyrgyzstan.

From a pool of 1,933 films spanning six continents and 114 countries, Saltanat's film was chosen for the Naryn screenings. Then it clinched the highest honor - 'Best Film' in the student regional film category. This global recognition is a testament to our alumni's caliber and contributions to the international film community.

Her short documentary film 'Moments That Have Gone' was her thesis work at TCMA. The film takes us on a poignant journey, beginning with the author's childhood. As the author delves into her old writings, we are exposed to every page of the diary, filled with suffering and inner struggles, juxtaposed with her happy childhood captured by her father. This personal journey resonates with our experiences, making the film a powerful exploration of self-discovery and understanding.

We sincerely congratulate Saadat and are proud of the achievements of our graduates!!!
