DevFest Bishkek 2024: A Gateway to Global Tech and Community Development

On September 29, 2024, we witnessed a remarkable convergence of innovation, technology, and community spirit as the Google Developer Group (GDG) hosted DevFest 2024 at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). This annual developer conference, which takes place worldwide, celebrated 10 years of GDG’s presence in Bishkek.

Founded a decade ago, GDG has built a strong foundation, bringing tech enthusiasts together to explore the latest technology. The first DevFest in Bishkek, held in 2014, set the stage for what became a central event for developers, IT professionals, and entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan and the broader Central Asian region.

 

DevFest Bishkek 2024 brought together global talent and local collaboration. The conference featured notable speakers, including Google Developer Experts from Mongolia and developers from Central Asia. This blend of international expertise and local insight highlighted the growing relevance of Central Asia in the global tech ecosystem.
