AUCA proudly announces Mira Dzhakshylykova, our Sustainability Coordinator, as a distinguished participant at the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP-28, the world's premier climate conference! By representing AUCA and the education sector, championing youth involvement in Kyrgyzstan. Held from November 30 to December 12, COP-28 united global leaders to address climate challenges.

Mira's impactful presence showcased AUCA's unwavering commitment to sustainability and its proactive engagement in combating climate change. The conference, under the UNFCCC framework, serves as a vital platform for nations to negotiate and take action against climate issues, limit emissions, and combat global warming.

Engaging with experts, contributing to sessions, and networking, Mira's involvement was truly inspiring. At the Central Asian Pavilion, she presented in the session "Amplifying youth-driven climate solutions: the impact of education and green skills," sharing the success of AUCA's EcoPark initiative in climate education.

COP-28 provided AUCA with a global stage to share sustainability expertise and facilitated invaluable learning opportunities. Mira's dedication exemplifies AUCA's commitment to fostering a sustainable future through education, green skills, and innovative solutions.
