On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the International and Comparative Politics Department, in collaboration with the Office of the President, continued its prestigious Ambassador Talks Series, featuring the esteemed presence of His Majesty, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Nicholas Bowler. This captivating event served as a platform for a comprehensive discourse on a multitude of critical topics.

 

Ambassador Bowler, with his extensive expertise, delved into the intricate nuances of bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and the Kyrgyz Republic. He expounded on the historical genesis of the Chevening State scholarship program and illuminated the diverse admission opportunities it offers. Furthermore, the Ambassador engaged the audience with an enlightening discussion on global political dynamics, offering insights into the state of affairs on the world stage, particularly in the context of climate change.

 

In addition to his diplomatic insights, Ambassador Bowler shared his personal experiences from his time in Jerusalem, enriching the event with a unique perspective.
