Altynai Nuralieva, a graduate of the Business Administration department, class of 2022. Currently, she works as an audit associate at one of the Kyrgyz branches of Big4 companies, the world's four largest professional services networks and the global accounting networks that provide audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services to major corporations. Altynai is responsible for assisting the auditing team with the planning and administration of assignments. She also drafts financial statements, prepares budgets, conducts financial audits, and verifies an organisation's financial information.
I remember how it all started with the orientation week when I entered the university as an inexperienced teen who later graduated having grown into a young professional. The four years have passed so quickly, yet the contribution they made to my development of me as a person is tremendous. The university experience is irreplaceable and a "must-do" for every young adult.
What I enjoyed the most about my experience at AUCA was being surrounded by the people who inspired me to aspire. The university granted me lifelong friends, around whom I feel safe and supported.
I graduated from the BA department, obtaining a concentration in accounting and finance. Soon after graduation in 2022, I joined KPMG as an audit associate, one of the Big Four companies providing auditing services. My responsibilities comprise performing audit procedures over the financial statements and internal processes of the organisations.
My advice to the current students is to use their time at AUCA as time for experiments. For example, consider university a sandbox where you won't get hurt if you fall. Also, remember your hard skills.
