On Tuesday, the 14th of February, the final concert of the Stream competition was held.
Every year AUCA hosts the "Stream" talent competition for young people and high school students in Kyrgyzstan, who will compete for three educational scholarships to study at AUCA. Many took part and participated in the qualifying round, but the strongest of them reached the final round.
This year, 180 applications were submitted for participation in the qualifying round. And only 11 of the strongest contestants were able to make it to the final round where they presented their extremely good performances:
Aidai Balbaeva
Aigerim Niiazova
Alina Smetanina
Angelina Kim
Malika Ermambetova
Ryskeldi Starbekov
Altyna Stamakunova
Emirlan Abankunov
Karina Chuiutbaeva
Dmitrii Blinkov
Arina Kydralieva
It is also important to mention that this year the musical talent show Stream was organized and held as a charity event. All the funds collected from ticket sales were transferred to help combat the terrible diagnosis of little Erkaiym.
The honorary right to open the competition was presented to Jonathan Becker, where he said parting words to the contestants: “AUCA is a wonderful institution. We want talented young people to enrich our institution. And there is no way better to celebrate that talent than to get that with a contest. Thank you all for coming.”
Nikolay Grigoryevich thanked the audience and the contestants, "This contest was created not for those who will win, but for those who will lose. And yet, to your applause, they will come and enter our university. Thank you all! Let’s begin!" On this note, the talent show Stream began its first branch of the concert.
Aidai Balbaeva opened the show, impressing the audience with her stunning performance of Cynthia Erivo's composition "Stand up". Aidai's second choice was the song Voilà by Barbara Pravi. Aidai impressed everyone with a wide range of her vocals.
Malika Ermambetova distinguished herself by her performance using national instruments such as ooz komuz, choor and komuz. In addition to performing songs on instruments, Malika also danced Kara Jorgo - a Kyrgyz national dance.
Aigerim Niyazova shared her thoughts with us: “I was very happy to perform these dances on stage today. I staged my first dance inspired by a dancer from Kazakhstan. She performed a national dance at a competition in Uzbekistan, where I saw her performance. I taught for myself and now I have such a wonderful opportunity to speak with him.” Aigerim performed amazing traditional dance wearing an incredible white costume.
Arina Kydralieva showed a very charismatic performance of the song in French. She chose “Dernière danse” by Indila and “ Warriors” by Imagine Dragons. Arina expressed her impressions about the contest: "The stream gave new acquaintances, of course, and this is the most important thing. The emotions that I experienced during rehearsals cannot be expressed in words. I am so grateful for the acquaintances and perhaps for the experience."
In addition to the performances of the contestants, the audience was also able to see the performances of the artists of the Mirrors Theater.
The winners of the musical talent show Stream 2023 are:
Ryskeldi Starbekov - 3rd place
Arina Kydralieva - 2nd place

Ryskeldi: “Everything went well! Thanks to everyone and of course the audience! When you give your best and show the number, then you get even more energy from the audience.”
