Not everyone had time to take part in the previous Buy nothing event (exchange of things and books) during our 6R Fest in October, so, by popular demand, we decided to repeat the event only for the AUCA community - and we will hold a Christmas Buy Nothing! Organizer of the event - the Center for Civic Engagement within the framework of the Green AUCA project.

Soviet postcards, bookmarks for books and books on New Year's stock from @KnigiKitepter (Books were very popular at the last fair)

continuation of the action from @KnigiKitepter "Bring 5 kg of waste paper - get a book as a gift" (At 6R Fest, during the promotion, we collected over 90 kg of waste paper in exchange for 20 books!)

Even if you have not brought your things or books to the fair for exchange, come to the fair anyway! Here you can BUY the thing or book you like at a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE.

ATTENTION! Charity event! All the proceeds from the Christmas gift + the money raised from the 6R Fest will go to charity (where and for what exactly, we will decide together after the event).

WHEN: December 9

WHERE: Forum

TIME: 12:00 – 15:00

Students, faculty and staff of AUCA can leave things (in good and clean condition) until December 9 in room 315 (faculty room) in special boxes (boxes are signed "Buy Nothing").

Or bring things to the fair itself on December 9 at the Forum by 12:00.

When handing over things, we ask you to put a sticker with your information into the package with your things: full name, faculty/department, position (student/teacher/employee) and contact details. (This is necessary for keeping records by our volunteers, and also so that you can later receive items of other participants that you liked as a gift.)

The Christmas Gift is a great opportunity:

give something nice to another person and create a good mood for him
receive something interesting and useful to you as a GIFT
purchase Christmas and New Year gifts for your relatives, friends and colleagues at minimal prices
and simply create a pleasant, warm and cozy Christmas atmosphere in AUCA!

Bring things you no longer need, but in good condition, books, magazines, as well as New Year's trinkets - masks, Christmas decorations for home and clothes, Santa's hats, New Year's tinsel, sparkles, garlands (in working order!), New Year's costumes, New Year's cards, games and toys, accessories, etc.
