AUCA took part in the Willem C. Vis Moot competition

AUCA Willem C. Vis Moot Team took part in the Central Asia Vis pre-moot organized and sponsored by the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the International Arbitration Centre (AIFC) of the Astana Financial Center, Kazakhstan. 

The Willem C. Vis Moot is an international arbitration competition, which takes place annually in Vienna, Austria. The Central Asia Vis pre-moot was organized on March 11-15, 2022 at the premises of the AIFC in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan

The coaches of the team are Assistant Professors of the Law Division -
Dinara Asanbaeva and Kanykei Kasybekova.

The AUCA team is grateful to the CLDP for their generous financial support, to the Sri Lanka Moot Court Bench advisors for their useful guidance and support, and to the AIFC for the superb organization of the pre-moot and excellent premises.

This year the final rounds of the Willem C. Vis competition will take place virtually on April 8-14, 2022 (more info on the Vis Moot is available on this website: https://vismoot.pace.edu/). We wish our team all the best as they prepare for this prestigious international legal competition.
