American University of Central Asia is always proud and thankful to have the longstanding partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and American Councils for International Education.
This year, in the framework of our joint collaboration, the AUCA @development_auca had been privileged to host virtually the summer program National Security Language Initiative for Youth 2021 sponsored by the US Department of State.
The intensive summer program NSLI-Y VSI 2021 has been full of academic learning and cultural exchange for 10 US high school students granted a great opportunity to expand the line knowledge of the Russian language skills. The program results have shown how good academic progress students made and gained cultural knowledge during the program. The students presented excellent performances not only in their Russian language classes but also pleasantly surprised us with their talented skills at the program closing ceremony.
We appreciate much the students for being creative and expressing their interest and desire to learn. Our special thank goes also to our partners, program teachers and staff who contributed a lot to make this program possible this year!
We look forward to our successful cooperation and welcoming the students of the NSLI-Y program to AUCA!
