Career in conflict zones: internship and volunteering

March 17, 2021

#CAREERBOOTCAMP#growithauca

Have you ever wondered why most employers require 1-5 years of experience from fresh graduates? Because you have 4 years of student life. Save your time, practice now or lose tomorrow. Your key to a successful tomorrow is engagement in internship/volunteering opportunities. Learn how to extract maximum from it, why it is important and how it can help you build a career in conflict zones.

Alina Murzaeva, AUCA graduate, who also successfully graduated from the prestigious University of London - London School of Economics and Political Science, will share her experience on March 24 at 12 PM.  During the session students will learn:

  • what significant experience they can/should get while they are a student;
  • why it is necessary to gain experience in student life, even if a volunteering/internship is not paid;
  • importance of undergoing an internship in different organizations;
  • what is it like to work in conflict zones?

Registration link has been sent out to student emails. If you did not receive it, email career@auca.kg
