The exhibition will feature works painted from life, as well as from photographs taken by the author in Bishkek and during his travels in Kyrgyzstan, the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia. One block will feature paintings made from the works of such talented photographers like Marat Sairanbaev, Ardak Tokoy uulu, Yuri Boyanin, Dmitry Arkhipov and Paul Fryer. Most of the work was done in the spring and summer of this year, during the period of the epidemic and quarantine. According to the author, this watercolor therapy in many ways helped him survive this period and overcome his own COVID infection.
During the same period, the idea of creating a Fight-COVID exhibition was born. It was about how watercolor therapy could help other patients as well.
The author is grateful to Cholpon Tentieva and the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic for their help in organizing the exhibition and providing the gallery space without any charge!
All paintings are professionally framed by the masters from the Eutrobaguette workshop. The prices are quite reasonable - 1,000 - 4,000 som.
