Water is the Source of Life - treasure it!

“Water is the source of life” project was implemented from April 24-26 by our student Mira Dzhakshylykova. Due to the pandemic, it was an online project, Zoom platform was used. 34 teenagers and the experts from different areas discussed the topics about Climate change, efficient and rational use of water, 17 SDGs, project implementation, water footprint, and the Earth and Water days.

Within the global warming issue in the world, it could be one of the main issues on a global scale. The aim of this project was the formation of primary forms of ecological culture among schoolchildren, the expansion of ideas about water and its properties. Nurturing a caring attitude to water, as the source of human life and the life on the Earth itself.

“I am doing an internship at the State Agency on Environment Protection. And I study Ecology that this field is close to me and it is a relevant theme in connection with climate change in our region. Therefore, I decided to choose this topic. The participants I chose were from the regions.  I think they have fewer opportunities to participate in such projects than the urban ones” , - told Mira.
