Academic Advising Office's contribution to online transition

Making a transition to online learning was urgent and Academic Advising Office in collaboration with many staff, faculty, and students offered students the trainings of online platforms to maintain quality learning. It is beyond regular time and duty commitment and within a limited time, including over a weekend, we helped students to learn quickly new ways to connect and learn. Academic Advising Office has provided constant support to students following 2 weeks when classes resume after spring break in online format to help students to build confidence in a non-traditional learning environment.

Overall number of students’ covered- 630 that is 56% of all active students
Trainings by peer advisors- 223
Trainings by freshman advisors- 180
IOE staff/students- 135
By advisors from departments-92

Academic Advising Office has contributed to overall university efforts to drive a fast transition by supporting students to engage in learning and growing. There is a number of key materials are developed to share with students. Constant online support is provided.
